  • Monitor Festival 2018

  • General description:

    Monitor Fest, Crete’s Contemporary Arts Festival, is being held for the last two years in Heraklion, Greece. Its aim is to develop a platform for contemporary arts, through a dialogue between tradition and modernism, arts and artists, locality and extroversion.

    This year, the Festival will be hosted in the premises of the antique factory “Athena” which once belonged to the family of the Nobel Prize for Literature laureate Odysseus Elytis, who was born in Heraklion.

  • ArtNit Campos Festival 2018

  • General description:

    ArtNit Campos Festival is already regarded as one of the most important contemporary art festivals of the Balearic Islands, which has been running now for 8 consecutive and uninterrupted years with an annual attendance of more than 7,000 visitors. More than 500 local, national and international artists have participated so far in this one-day only festival. The event aims to fill various spaces with art, especially some of the less conventional spaces in Campos.

  • EAC Exhibition 2018

  • General description:

    The University of Alicante and Institute Alicantino of Culture Juan Gil-Albert present in the  hall of the Cub of the Museum of the University of Alicante, the XVIII Contest Meetings of Contemporary Art. A fruitful collaboration between institutions, since 2004, committed to the support and dissemination of the visual arts and their creators.

    Participation in the contest this year has been very rewarding. A total of 154 projects have been presented and 24 of them have been selected.  As in previous years, the quality of the projects selected for the sample is evidence of the excellent state of the art scene.

  • Open Boundaries Book 2018

    General description:

    The Open Boundaries Book is project of LoosenArt on line galleryThe publication of this book will includes artists from worldwide countries that deal with “Open Boundaries” through the mainely media of Photography, Digital Graphic, Painting, Sculpture, Installation and Mix Media Visual Digital. The book will be published in the format 29,7 x 21 CM ( 11,7 x 8,3 inch ) hardcover, four-color process.

    In addition, the book will includes an introductory comment by the author Silvia Colombo, art historian specialised in contemporary visual arts.

    Kateryna Borovschi’s work “Traumatic State, Image II” was selected to take part in the next Open Boundaries Book publication in view in February 2018.

  • PAM!PAM Exhibition 2018

    The PAM!PAM is a specially created exhibition which aims to promote talented young artists in Valencia, Spain. The exhibition is formed with 10 participants chosen by the Valencia’s Cultural Affairs Committee at the PAM!17 festival. The total of 70 artists took part in PAM!17 and it was a great honour to be among those who were selected to be engaged in future artistic activity. 

    The Committee is generally consisted of 6 members: Fermín Jiménez Landa (artist), Johanna Caplliure (art critic), Sandra Moros (art curator), Isabel Pérez (coordinator of the museum centre “Carme Centre Valencia”), Ricardo Forriols (vice-dean of the Sub-department of Culture, Department of Fine Arts, Polytechnic University of Valencia), Javier Molins (Founder of the “Foundation Hortensia Herrero”) y José Gandía Blasco (art collector).

    Kateryna Borovschi was selected for PAM!PAM Exhibition 2018. It will take place in the Atarazanas del Grao in Valencia where 9 of the selected participants in addition to Kateryna, will present their new achievements in 2018.

  • IPA Philippines Award 2017

    General description:

    The International Photography Awards’ mission (IPA) is to show the achievements of the world’s finest photographers and to discover new and yet unknown talents. Moreover, it promotes common appreciation of photography.

    The IPA conducts an annual competition for professional photographers, students and amateurs on a global scale, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the world of photography today. It was patterned after The Lucie Awards, which honored some of the most renowned and celebrated photographers such as Steve McCurry, Martin Parr of Magnum, Annie Liebovitz, Nick Ut and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

    The IPA Philippines concentrates on encouraging and spreading visual culture across the country and overseas.

    Kateryna Borovschi’s series of four photographs “Traumatic State” won a Bronze Award under the category “People/Self-Portrait”.

  • Helden Exhibition 2017

    General description:

    For the first time in 2008, the Marler Kunststern hosted a new major cultural event, which attracted lots of media attention due to its diversity. It has now become one of the largest interdisciplinary exhibitions of the free art scene in Germany.

    This year the Marler Kunststern presents the works selected from those curated by renowned experts. They will be dedicated to the specific topic called “Heroes” (Helden in German language). The competition is aimed at all interested artists from the variety of fields: painting, photography, computer & print graphics, drawing, sculpture, video, performance, installation, new media, happening, etc.

  • A SGR Exhibition 2017

  • General description:

    The exhibition “A Single Grain of Rice” embodies an invitation to rediscover the universe through a selection of small size artworks. It is organized by an art gallery “Métanoïa” located in the historical heart of Paris, a few steps away from the Pompidou Center. Influenced by the Far East traditions, but open to all cultures, the gallery endeavors to promote promising young artists, who encourage us to notice and appreciate what is not visible to the naked eye.

    Some “Traumatic State” project’s sketches will be represented at the exhibition in Paris.

    The festival PAM emerged in 2013 with the hope to converge two public Universities of Valencia – Universitat de València and Universitat Politècnica de València – and three Master’s Degrees – Master in Artistic Production, Master of Visual Arts and Multimedia, and Master in Cultural Management – opening and creating pathways of communication and research that have an impact on the students themselves.

    General description:

    Benimaclet ConFusión festival is an event of artistic expression which takes place in the Valencian district of Benimaclet. The performances both in the pedestrian streets and in the spaces involved aim to give voice to the artistic soul of this district.  It’s a unique opportunity to live directly the atmosphere which each day hides inside the creative tissue of Benimaclet. The public will have the possibility of enjoying the festival for free in every space of the tour drawing its own path. The festival has no profit aim.
