IPA Philippines Award 2017

PAM 17 exhibition

General description:

The International Photography Awards’ mission (IPA) is to show the achievements of the world’s finest photographers and to discover new and yet unknown talents. Moreover, it promotes common appreciation of photography.

The IPA conducts an annual competition for professional photographers, students and amateurs on a global scale, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the world of photography today. It was patterned after The Lucie Awards, which honored some of the most renowned and celebrated photographers such as Steve McCurry, Martin Parr of Magnum, Annie Liebovitz, Nick Ut and Henri Cartier-Bresson.

The IPA Philippines concentrates on encouraging and spreading visual culture across the country and overseas.

Kateryna Borovschi’s series of four photographs “Traumatic State” won a Bronze Award under the category “People/Self-Portrait”.
